Dec 10th 2009 3:54PM I personally am not a fan of Verizon's Droid ads -- has nothing to do with the iPhone (though I do think that's obviously their aim). I'm not into them because they're intensely stupid and uninformative, and I don't like being talked down to. That is, however, my own personal opinion, not the opinion of "Engadget."
Nook ship date pushed back to January 15th for new pre-orders, no Nooks in stores before Christmas? {Engadget}

As stated by a lot of commenters (and tipsters), pre-orders with ship dates IN THE PAST have not been changed, and yet no one has a Nook yet. We're keeping our eye on the situation, and I've updated the post to try to make it a little clearer.

Dec 4th 2009 11:53AM @triptych See, I think part of the charm of my Screen Grabs posts is that I never actually get any of the details of the shows or movies right. You might say, in fact, that I intentionally misrepresent what's going on.
